Small place. The coffee isn't.

PAGI BUTA is one window on Jalan Pantai Pererenan. No wifi, no sockets, no table big enough for a laptop. What there is: four rattan stools facing the rice field, one machine, and beans we roast ourselves every Tuesday.

We open at half five because that's when people come out of the water and when the morning offerings are done. We shut when the day's beans are gone. We've never roasted extra just to stay open longer. Coffee four days past its roast isn't coffee we want to sell you.
